The Hay Fund

The TIER residents love their Orchard hay! Hay is purchased by the truckload approximately every 3 months. This allows the horses to have consistency in their feed and gives volunteers a chance to climb up & down the haystack! Since this is a major, recurring purchase, we have set up the Hay Fund.

1 bale of orchard/timothy hay feeds 3 horses per day.
A bale of hay costs us $17.
