#205 Fleabitten Gray Arabian Mare. Appx. 14.3 hands. This mare has been used in Walk/Jog classes for children. She would require shoes on her rear hooves as she is somewhat low in the pasterns. She has an appx. 2 inch "wound" on her belly that could be from a kick, rubbing, or maybe flies. It is not being treated. Papers Available (Info to be posted at a later date).

UPDATE When I was in the pens recently, I felt a presence behind me. I turned and the mare above put her head over my shoulder. I hugged her, patted her and she sighed. This mare needs a loving home as she may be older, but she has lots of love to give.

TIER was contacted by the Arabian Horse Rescue Network whose supporters rallied once more to help an Arabian in need. Melotez will be wintering locally and all her needs met. We are delighted this old girl will have a warm, safe, healthy caring home.
