Bunny
#32-Gray TB
or Warmblood Cross Mare, appx. 12-13 yrs. old and 15.3 to 16 hands.
This mare is gorgeous. Has some white on her nose. She is a fleabitten
gray and has been body clipped. She was used in a riding program.
The underside of her left front hoof is chipped. She appears to
be sound, but feedlot was told that the riding program didn't
have the funds to invest in care for her foot, so she was sold
to the feedlot! Despicable! Big, pretty mare. Very, very
friendly.
Update
11/29/99 - I just got my new computer about 1 hour ago.
I wish I had great news for you but, unfortunately Bunny passed
away 1 week ago. She was doing so great she was totally sound
and I was riding her every other day. She had a lung condition
that gave her some trouble but, we had her on some real expensive
drugs that were doing the trick. I really felt like I had gotten
every thing under control and she seemed sooo happy and finally
comfortable.
The shoer
came out to shoe her last Wed. He did a great job and she was
trotting around happy as could be.... I was standing there watching
her and saying how great she looked when all of the sudden she
fell over. I ran to her, she was dead by the time I got to her.
I just couldn't believe my eyes! I called the vet and she said
the only thing she knows of that can kill a horse that fast is
an Aneurysm.
Soooo, I do
feel good that she had a good time her and was feeling great and
that she went so fast that I am sure she never felt a thing but,
my heart is of coarse my heart is BROKEN! I don't even know how
to explain to you how much I loved that horse. She was one awesomeg
girl and I just plain miss her!
