Gracie & Buttercup
#164.
Bay mare, socks on rear legs, blaze. Face
and forelegs are roaning or
"frosty". Injury to left eye. She can see shadows
in her left eye. 20+ yrs.
Appx. 15.1 - 15.2 hands. This mare was a camp horse for a number
of years.
Due to her eye injury she cannot be sent to the camps again
this year.
Despite her eye problem, she rides well and would require an
advanced beginner
or intermediate rider.
Dear
friend Nancy (who also ransomed GG, Just
a Splash Please and Rosebud) has decided
to enlarge her family with 2 (yes TWO!) additions!
While
finalizing the paperwork on Gracie (Nancy has decided to name
this lovely mare Gracie) I told Nancy about a pony that had
just been dropped off at the feedlot. This pony is old, very
thin, in need of dental and farrier work. He is a dark "roan
type" palomino. Nancy said "I'll take him and give
him a good home!" So, little Mr. Pony Boy (that's what
we are calling him until Nancy has had a chance to name him).
Oopsie - Mr. Pony Boy is actually MS. Pony Boy :) and has been
named Buttercup.
Both
of these wonderful horses will be staying with one of TIER's
supporters (Lori) until Nancy has completed her move from Washington
to California! Welcome to California Nancy and family!
