From Bridget:  Rainbow 🌈 bridge  my little friend we will meet up.  One rain too many for the grumpy little old man pony Snowball.  Went out this morning and he had spent the night in the rain laying down.  No desire for food just shaking. When I got him up my mare MayMay came over to attack him.  Nature tells you that the weakest are used as sacrifice for the herds survival.

Yesterday death must have been hanging out in the barn because none of them wanted to come any where near the barn at feeding time… it was a first weird reaction I’ve ever seen.

From Bridget:  He is over 20, a bit less arthritis then I have and had been outgrown by his last kids. He needed a soft landing to spend his remaining life. The Padawan and I may be doing Princess Unicorn photo shoots as he is a fluffy delight but not any heavy riding. My vet and farrier have to go over him in the weeks ahead.

He is a permanent fixture. He is older, and came here for a soft retirement
